Children's Ministry

Children's Sunday School (1st - 6th): Children's Sunday School Teachers use "The Gospel Project for Kids" to provide an atmosphere of fun and learning  through crafts, music, and stories. This is a chronological approach which allows kids to see how Christ fits into the whole Bible and how every story connects to the gospel.

Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through the Gospel Project, kids will understand that the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story - God's story of redemption.

AWANA Program: Meets on Wednesday evening from 6:30pm-8:00pm during the school year.

Kids' Camp @ Camp Kursa: every year, usually during late June and early July, the kids have an opportunity to go to the Olympic Baptist Association's (OBA) Kids' Camp at Camp Kursa near Shelton. The week is split into two parts, one for the younger kids (grades 1-3) at the beginning of the week and the remainder of the week for the older kids (grades 4-6). There are a myriad of activities for the kids to keep them busy. Great fun is had by all.

Vacation Bible School: Summertime is Vacation Bible School (VBS) time. VBS is a week long Bible study for kids. KLBC members lead the music, crafts, recreation & games, missions study, worship service and refreshments.
